Covid-19 Measures
In order for us to run we must follow all the rules which have been implemented.

Before Travelling
• If you, or any of your party are feeling ill, DO NOT TRAVEL.
• If you answer yes to any of the following questions, do not travel to the showground.
• Do you have a new continuous cough?
• Have you experienced a loss of, or change in sense of smell or taste (anosmia).
• Are you in the High risk, clinically extremely vulnerable category?
• Are you are self isolating, due to contact with someone with symptoms, someone with confirmed covid 19, or returning from a country known to have the virus?
• Do not travel with anyone outside your household unless you can maintain safe social distancing (2 meters).
• Competitors may be accompanied by one other person and one additional person for every additional horse entered. A person under 18 can only have 1 adult with them and no siblings unless entered.
At the Show
• You must park 5 metres apart.
• Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on the showground by an adult and children under the age of 14 must be supervised at all times.
• Only one groom / helper per horse is permitted in the collecting ring at any one time.
• Please note the 5mph speed limit on the showground must be observed at all times.
• All horses / ponies entering the showground must have a valid equine passport and must be properly vaccinated according to the relevant Governing Body.
• All riders, drivers, grooms and helpers must have their own third party liability insurance.
• By entering the showground, you agree to abide by these Rules and Regulations, as well as any other rulebook specific to the event..

Warm Up
Current Rules are that no more than 6 people are permitted in the arena. This is a combined number limit of riders plus any grooms etc.
• You must listen to the collecting ring steward . Failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave and forfeiting any entries made.
• Social distancing must be maintained at all times. If anyone is seen to be stood closer than 2m, the collecting ring steward will take action.
• Maximum time allowed to warm up will be 15 minutes.

Arena
• There will be a one-way system in operation for horses and pedestrians. This must be adhered to at all times. Failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave and forfeiting any entries made.
• Only the person accompanying you will be allowed to watch the round in the indoor arena.
• You must follow all signage and instructions.
• There are hand sanatiser points throughout the Arena and hand washing facilities. Please use them.
Competitions
• You will be allocated times to compete.
• The order will not be changed. If you miss your time we will not be able to let you jump.
• The drawn order list will be on the website and on the Large doors of the Arena.
• There will not be any awarding of prizes at the event.
• Results will be out on the website after the days competition or on Horse Monkey if BD.
• You must leave the Show ground immediately on completion of your classes.
• If entered in more than one class you must go back to your lorry or trailer and wait there until it is your turn to warm up and compete.
• There can only be 6 people at any one time whether in the warm up or waiting to compete.
Catering
• The burger van will be onsite. You will need to remain 2 metres apart whilst waiting to be served. There is a one way system in operation.
• You will need to eat your food outdoors or at your lorry or trailer.
• Toilets are in use but you must keep 2 metres apart. They will be cleaned regularly. .

If the above rules are not adhered to we will not be able to run our competitions. Anyone found breaking the rules or not listening to the stewards will be asked to leave and all entries or prize money forfeited , Anyone showing any form of abuse to Stewards, volunteers or Sunnybanks staff will be asked to leave the show ground and all entries made forfeited.

Sunnybank EC it’s employees officials stewards or anyone volunteering shall in any way be liable for any accident, injury, damage or loss or for anything that may happen (from any cause or circumstances whatsoever) to Exhibitors, Competitors, or members of the General Public or their Servants, Agents or to anyone on the Showground, or for any loss, claim, matter circumstance or event whatsoever in connection with or arising out of nor attributable or any journey to or from the Show.
• No individual for which he/she is responsible as owner lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete in any show jumping competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure that other members of the public are not put at risk of injury.
• The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry; cancel or alter classes or postpone the event due to unforeseen circumstances. The organisers also reserve the right, if necessary, to amend the schedule, which may mean that riders compete in less classes than advertised. In the unlikely event that the event is cancelled, the Organisers will return everyone’s monies, less an administration charge of up to 50% of the total price, to cover the irrecoverable costs of preparing to host the event.
